Description
This foil is a temporarily substitute for damaged side or rear windows, to keep the vehicle mobile. The small reel is ideal to replace a toughened safety glass window and should always stay in your vehicle.
The self-adhesive, transparent PE foil (film thickness: 130 µm = 0,13 mm) is easy to attach. The bonding film is very strong and allows tight stretching when fixing. This reduces driving noise to a minimum. Crinkle-free mounting assures that the vehicle will stand even a heavier rain shower.
TIP: Due to the strong bonding film this foil should only be applied on varnishes that are in good condition. In doubt it is recommended to recondition the area with a polishing compound. For removal you should warm up the film with a hot air gun – this will reduce the glue residues (possible residues can be removed with the eraser disc KRS-1588).
