For a professtional windscreen installation in accordance with the manufacturer‘s instructions you must observe the correct clearance between the glass and the car body. As bonded glasses must not be moved once they have been set, it is beneficial to ensure the correct clearance during the installation process.
With its 1.0 mm thick plastic discs the assembly jig permits an auto glass installation accurate to the last millimetre. Simply position as many discs as needed between glass and pinchweld. The assembly jig can be fixed either on the glass or on the car body.
At the same time the assembly jig can be used as a clearance gauge for all car body jobs (e. g. when mounting fenders or aligning doors and hoods).
